Josh Lunda

SPEED AND AGILITY SPECIALIST

I am a recent kinesiology grad from Dalhousie University, as well as a former varsity track and field athlete who specialized in the sprints.

My time as a kinesiology student was heavily focused on anatomy and biomechanics – the stream of kinesiology that looks to understand why the body moves the way it does, how to prevent injury, and how to further improve athletic performance.

I have been a competitive track and field sprinter for over 12 years. My main outdoor events were the 100m and 200m sprints, where my main indoor events were the 60m and 300m sprints. I have competed at the provincial, collegiate, and national level where I achieved success ranging from a top 8 finish to a provincial record. I have had the opportunity to train under and alongside Olympians, attended several high-performance training camps in Florida, as well as having the opportunity to attend mentorship camps with national team coaches.

My goal with ASP is to use my experiences as a seasoned track athlete and kinesiology student to help fellow athletes rise to their highest potential in training and injury prevention. I also wish to help them achieve sustainable yet maximal performance in competition.
